Do you know how much you can legally tow? If you passed your test
from 1 January 1997 onwards, your driving licence will be limited to a
Category B licence.
If you have a Category B licence, you can legally drive a vehicle
with a maximum mass of 3500kg plus a trailer weighing 750kg. You can tow
a heavier trailer as long as the combined maximum allowable weights of
the towing vehicle and trailer do not exceed 3500kg.
If you want to tow anything heavier, you'll need a Category B+E licence. That's where we come in!
